Lions 5K for Sight, Hearing & Diabetes

Our first annual Scotia-Glenville Lions 5K run for Sight, Hearing and Diabetes Awareness had 100+ runners and was a great success. The Scotia-Glenville Lions Club is holding a 5K race starting at the Lions Pavilion in Collins Park in the village of Scotia on Saturday May 11th, 2024. Packet pick-up is at 8:45am, the run starts at 10am. The Lions Pavilion is off of Kiwanis Way on the right. If using GPS or Google, put in Kiwanis Way to get directions.

The course is very flat with very little elevation change and is very suitable for casual runners and walkers. All ages are welcome. You can register to run on by clicking on ‘Scotia-Glenville Lions Club 5K’ below. The cost is $20 for adults and$12 for children under 12. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a backpack. All money raised will be used to support activities supporting sight, hearing and diabetes awareness.

Scotia-Glenville Lions Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable orginization. All money raised will go towards the stated causes of vision, hearing and diabetes awareness. You may also make a donation via the Scotia-Glenville Lions Club 5K  link to the site. All donations are greatly appreciated.
